Building an E-Commerce Platform & Marketing Foundation


Joining the Anchovi team roughly a year after the acquisition from Dot Foods Inc., allowed me to enter a high-growth opportunity era of the company. When joining the team, I was tasked with figuring out what additional features to build to increase customer acquisition and retention on the platform while also leading the companies Marketing charge. I successfully oversaw the creation of a brand-new website for Anchovi, created a foundation for our CRM (Hubspot), and produced roughly 80% of all customer-facing marketing materials. Consistent marketing projects included e-mail campaigns with dedicated A/B testing to improve our retention rates, digital marketing initiatives, e-mail and CRM management, and much more!

As the sole marketer on the Anchovi team, I worked extensively with our Go-To-Market and Product teams to introduce our platform and feature updates to our audience. To the left is the home-page of what ended up being our newly created anchovi.com website. Overseeing this project was a fun and challenging project, since we needed an MVP level website before key events & tradeshows.
